Well I have been working out like crazy this week, but I don't know if I am going to get to the gym tonight, BASKETBALL GAME! Last night I went to the gym and had to get on the awful treadmill. I don't know if any of you have used a treadmill like this one but it randomly changes your speed as you are doing your workout to make it more intense or what but it is a pain in the butt. I was on it for 30 minutes and was constantly changing and adjusting the speed. Anyway, the kicker is when the 30 minutes was done the machine just stopped, no 1 minute cool down, nothing, I almost fell the thing stopped so abruptly.
Anyway, I have a new trick to make the workout go by faster. I am aware that I didn't come up with this concept but I have improved on it. I read my celebrity magazines while I'm working out. Now you have to take more than one, preferably 3-4 for this reason....You are reading along and "poof" Katie Holmes is pregnant, you store that away in your memory bank. You know the one that you keep all the useless information that no one really cares about. OK, so you have Katie Holmes' pregnancy stored away, and you finish up that magazine. So you move to the next magazine, and you will never believe (according to this magazine) is anorexic. Oh yeah, KATIE HOLMES. Seriously, this is my new favorite thing to do. These magazines came out in the same week. So.....I've just waisted 20 minutes on the treadmill contemplating the fact that Katie Holmes is Preggers and Anorexic all at the same time.
Last night I workout over an hour on 2 machines playing this little game. It works even better when the person on the machine beside you is playing to, and watching Deal or No Deal. Ha Ha.
