Ohhh Its Getting "Worser"!

My soreness has grown through out the day. I have the tendency to talk with my hands, and arms and really my whole body. I was trying to tell a joke tonight that required me to do this arm movement and I nearly came undone, it hurt so bad. I only have the ability to lift my arms to the shoulder level now.

I had to coach bases tonight at a little league softball game and I'm thinking that has made me a little more sore too. I was not aware of how many arm motions it takes to get a 5 year old to run from 2nd base to 3rd. And it takes even more to get them to run Home. :)

I did get a good workout tonight. I got to get the best and new elliptical machine, which I love and then did the evil stair machine for a little bit. No weights tonight but Ill be back to those tomorrow night.

I would like to thank you all for the wonderful comments. It is really cool to get that kind of encouragement. (Minus those of you who like to post hateful things, and yes I know who you are)

Also, My blog has reached another milestone. What started as a fun little thing to keep me on track for my weight loss that I told very few people about has now officially reached 1,100 views. I even had someone come to me in the gym and make a joke to me about the gym ettiquette post, and I had no idea this lady even knew my blog existed.

So thanks to everyone. This has been really fun.

LLL We Want a Picture

Well I have been talking to my workout buddy to see if we can get some before and after photos. She is not loving the idea of the pictures but I am still working on that. Come on you know you want to be on the blog.

Well~It Went Pretty Dog Gone Good

I had the first meeting with the trainer last night. I want to lie and say "It went great I lost 40 lbs and I'm not sore" And that would be a LIE.

It did indeed go really well, but I am medium sore in my arms. That is what we worked yesterday, it would be kinda crazy if we worked legs and my arms were sore (I kid). But I am a little sore today, we did arms and the cardio. I didn't get the new elliptical that I like so much last night so I had to suffer through with the old one, but LLL was on the one beside me so we talked the entire time. I was pretty sure the counter on both of our machines were broken cause they were set on 30 minutes and I am pretty sure we stayed on for 45-123 minutes.

I have to meet again tonight. Tonight is just a class not an individual workout so I will probably get my butt handed to me, but I do love those workouts the best.

Not Too Bad

Well I was pretty sure that I would be hurting bad today, but its really not all bad. The gym has gotten a new elliptical machine, and it is special. I have not done the elliptical machine in 2 weeks and I got on this one last night for 30 minutes and I felt like it was a great workout. Thirty minutes is a long time, I was really just hoping for 15-20 minutes.

So, I'm not sore today, well just a little in my butt area and I got a great workout. And I start with the personal trainer tonight. YEAH!

Back in the Swing of Thing

It is really hard to cheat on a diet and exercise program and then *Wham* back to the grind. But if I was to see the goals I have set then I just have to do it. I have done pretty good eating today but not as good as I should have.

I am really excited about getting to workout tonight, I feel like I have not been in forever. I just know I will probably be sore, and that will suck to be sore again, but then I think "I can be sore or be fat" and it is much more fun to complain about being sore than fat. And you know its more fun to hear about people in pain than belly aching over something they have done to themselves. Its kind of like when people think they will be ok to go to the Wal Mart and buy hair color cause they decided in the last 5 minutes that they want to be a red head. Then when their hair turns fire engine red, they complain and moan, GOODNESS GRACIOUS, you did it to yourself. Ok enough of that rant. It just came over me all of a sudden.

Anyway, I will be sure to let you all know how bad I am hurting tomorrow and you can feel free to laugh.

By the By, I am going to try in the next few day to do a VLOG, video blog for those of you who don't know. It will take me a little bit to figure it out. I'm going to give it a shot.

Hi People

Hello all,

Well I hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend. It is a lot of fun for lots, and a day off work for most. Anyway. Just wanted to wish you all a happy one.

I had a wonderful time this weekend at the wedding....lots of great food and zero working out. It was a lot of fun though. Back to the gym tomorrow and starting with the personal trainer on Wednesday. We were suppose to meet last week but got postponed. I'm ready to get back to the gym and hope things can slow down just a little so I don't have to force the time.

I spent the majority of my Memorial Day in the pool and riding my bike so maybe I burned off some of the calories of the pizza and candy and ice cream I ate. Ha Ha.

That is really all I have for you guys. I will try to get an accurate weigh in for you guys this week.

Along with a More Active Lifestyle

We all know Ive lost about 35 lbs total, not really any more since I last posted and not a great big number or anything but, I have noticed that I have been able to do things physically that I was not able to do before. For example my sister had my niece's birthday party at a place called Pump It Up, which is just one of those places that has tons of blow up toys. There were basketball courts and jousting and a giant slide and an obstacle course. Not only could I get IN all of the contraptions but I played all night without getting horribly winded.

It is just little things like that that make me happy I am still doing this weigh loss thing.

No Need to be Mean

Sorry guys, I know I have not posted in a while but that is no reason to be hateful. I have had a crazy last couple of weeks and just have not found the time to post. After this weekend I should see a little relief...and I will post better for you all. But for the love, BE NICE.

Anyway, I start with the personal trainer on Wednesday with my partner LLL, and I am really looking forward to that. I have not had a chance to get to the gym as much as I would like the last couple of weeks, but my family and I have been playing a lot outside to more active things than usual. We swim and even went canoeing (look below for those pictures.) We have scheduled another canoe trip for a couple of weeks and got a trailer so we don't have to look that that again.

I'm going to the wedding this weekend that I told you all about. I'm really excited about it and ready for it to be over. I have had nightmares about this wedding, I dreamed once that I missed the whole thing completely. So my mind will be at ease when this is over.

So~ you probably wont hear from me for the next couple of days but I'll be back. I'm sure after a couple of visits with the trainer I will have some belly aching to do. Ill be here.

I am trying to get a before picture of all the workout buddies. I will have to scramble their faces cause they do not wish to appear on the blog. But one of my buddies has agreed to do the personal training thing with me. So we are a team again. Just updating you, and I will keep trying on the picture.

The other workout buddy lost 2.6, and the other lost 0.2 this week. yeah!

I had a good Week

Well I just got done with my weigh in this week. I was down 3 pounds this week, and so was one of my workout buddies. Way to go LLL.
