Weekend Trail Ride

Well I worked all weekend and actually had a blast. I had a few showings and we did a benefit trail ride. I consider myself in pretty good shape and not even I expected the soreness that I ended up with. I rode a horse for about 3 hours and my legs are not sore but my butt and my back are in a kind of pain that I have never experienced. I have a few pictures for you to enjoy from the ride.I will be adding more pictures throughout the day as I get them on my computer. Anna, there is a special one for you.

Absentee Blogger

Sorry it has been so long since I last posted. Kinda busy on my end. We have multiple sports going at the moment and work is picking up so the time just gets away from me. I will do better. I am really going to have to figure out how to post from my phone, that seems to be the best way to communicate with anyone.

I know I told you all I was going to be weighing on Fridays and I really haven't been on the scales in about 2 weeks so I'm not really sure what my weight is to give you an update. I have still been eating ok, not great, and getting in my workouts just haven't weighted.

I did go back to the Dr. and it looks like I am going to have surgery on my knee to fix all the crap that is going on with that. I am going next week to another Dr. for a second opinion, my hope is that he will say that it is fine, here is a magic pill that will make it all better, but I'm pretty sure that is not going to happen. I really want to hit the 100 lb. mark before surgery but I'm just not sure that I can get there. I am going to give it everything Ive got.

My biggest concern about the surgery (possibly surgeries) is that I will gain back so much weight that I will get discouraged. We are looking at 6-9 months of no to little physical activity. Basically all I will be able to do for a long while is lift weights (upper body) and walk on a treadmill and even walking will be delayed. I burn so many calories a day in my workouts that it allows me to be a little more relaxed about my diet but with no activity I will have to cut so many calories, I just don't know how long I will be able to keep that up.

But the journey is not over. I will get to my target weight, it just may not be a soon as I hoped for.

Weigh In

Well they are just going great as of the 75lb mark. I still have not lost another ounce. Whatever though, I'm still working out really hard and I know I will start to lose again. Just another plateau. Also, right now I have a strained muscle in my chest, the 2nd time now and boy does it hurt. I'll be alright though, this is my day off of exercise so Ill get to rest it a little.

Bodybuilding Part II

Hey all, tonight is my major big workout night, as we all know I tend to rest a little on Wed. Well tonight has just gone from my big workout night to the major workout night. I have been lifting every other day for the last couple of weeks and enjoying the results I have gotten from it. But my body and muscles have been just worn out from all the lifting. I was reading on how to help with fatigue of the muscles and I have decided to give myself 2 days of rest instead of just one. Maybe, hopefully, this will help with the muscle soreness and weakness. So tonight instead of the 2 classes, boot camp and Zumba, now I have to add the weights to it. But all I keep thinking is on this day every week I get to eat just a little bit more than regular and that make me happy.:)

Also, I have decided I am going to weigh every Friday again instead of every morning. I'm getting tired of seeing the little results each day and the fluctuations (water or too big supper) that are throwing my weight off for the day and getting me a little discouraged. I would rather see a bigger number once a week than a small one each day... Hopefully, I will remember to log on and let you know how the week went. And I wont be stuck to the Monday weigh in that sucks so bad. Keep up, once a week for sure!!!!!
