Biggest Loser Update

I know all you guys are just sitting at home on Tuesdays watching biggest loser like me, but maybe you missed it this week. For starters I told you all I loved Rudy...well this week he set the record for 100 lbs on the ranch in 7 weeks. Yeah for him. He is still my favorite and I want him to win. I usually start routing for a woman about this time in the show but he is the winner in my book right now.

I still really like Abby too, but unfortunately she went home last night. I am so proud of this girl and wish her the best of luck. Any of you who are not watching a really suggest that you read or watch her story online. (even if you do no like the Biggest Loser) She is truly an inspiration.

This is a New Kind of Sore

I know I get on here a few times a month just to complain about being sore. All I know is this is the second week in a row my little aerobics instructor has decided to kick our tails on Tuesday knowing we have to come back on Wednesday. I mean to tell you she put us through the ringer last night. I cannot even tell you exactly what exercise hurt me so bad but man she put it to us. This has gone today past soreness to pain, pain, PAIN!!! It hurts to sit and stand, and breath, and well everything and anything else you can think of. Last week when she did this on Tuesday I was nearly useless on Wednesday.


Also, I have the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. I'm going to give it 30 days and if I'm not shredded then I'm going to stop doing it. I will have to say though it is a nice 20 minute workout to get your day started. Doesn't take to much time but really gets the heart rate up and gets you sweating. I really like it, so I probably wont stop doing it, I might just buy my own copy...my wonderful cousin let me borrow it.

I have just found a great new website to help with calorie counting. It is really easy to navigate and has store brands as well as fast food and resturant options. Just lots of information.

After playing with it the other day I changed some of my eating habits because I didnt really realize how many calories some foods had in them. For example, no more peanuts for snack everyday...just every now and then. Crazy calories!

I Beat the Treadmill

As many of you know if you follow me on Twitter, I have gotten to the point where I do not want to just sit and watch TV because I feel like it could be time to spend at the gym or burning calories. I always try to do something like cook supper or fix lunch for the next day or laundry...the list goes on and on. Well since my wonderful cousin has let me use her treadmill til she moves into her house I have started walking on the treadmill at night while I'm watching TV. I walk at a regular stroll pace, not too fast or too slow and I will play with the incline, but never much over 3-4.

Well the reason I tell you all this is because, last night I outlasted the treadmill. I really like Thursday night TV and my workout class is over by 5 on Thursday so I have free time in the afternoons on Thursday. I walked for 100 minutes, actually 99:59. The machine just cut off. I didn't know it would do this. Usually I have to get off to use the restroom or take a phone call but last night I answered the phone from the machine so I never really had to get off and stop the time.

Let me just tell you this...even if you are not walking fast, when that belt stops moving and you keep up the same pace it hurts when you walk straight into the control panel of the machine. I'm not bruised today but I was really concerned that I would be after the collision that happened last night.

Biggest Loser

I am just now getting around to watching last weeks Biggest Loser. My VCR didn't record last week so....

Why in the Hell would they not send Tracy home. This woman is awful and I want her to go home. They are missing a prime opportunity to get her out of the house. Other than her attitude, she also is smaller than anyone on the team. If they all wanted to play the game like she has been doing they would kick her butt off.

Uh, I'm just wanting her gone. She is like the Joelle of last season.

Back from Vacation and Back on the Wagon


Well for starters I had a wonderful vacation...spent tons of time on the beach and in the pool. Worked out a little bit, but played a lot. I was a bad little girl though, I drank diet coke the entire trip and I enjoyed it very very much.


Since being back I have again given up my diet coke. I miss them already but I have done it before so I can do it again. I have also gotten back to my workouts and it makes me feel so much better and sleep better. I am still working on getting ready for the half marathon. I really want to be able to complete this thing, I want to run it but just to finish would be huge.


I have also decided for a little extra help to get to my next big goal... 100 lbs.... that I will not cut my hair. These pounds are coming off slower and slower each week but I think that this might be a little extra motivation.
I can tell it has been a few to many days of not working out because this week I have been super sore from kick boxing and Zumba. But hopefully this soreness will soon work itself out and will not be with me for days and days like last time.
I hope to be able to tell you all soon that I have hit my new mark. I will be looking forward to it.

Week without Workout

Hello,

I have not had much to say this week so I have not been posting. I have not eaten great and I have not gotten my workouts in. Soooooo basically I have not done well this week. My volleyball team had 3 games in 2 nights this week so I allowed that get in my head and tell me that I didnt have time to workout. I know that was stupid to do but I did just make an excuse instead of just doing the work.

Anyway, I didn't do good, I will just have to let that go and do better. On a happier note...I am going to the beach in 3 days and I am crazy excited about that. I will not be posting much if at all while I am out of town. The place we are going has a great gym so I will be able to get my workouts in while I am there. I will also get to walk or run on the beach even if it is while we are playing. I'm so excited to go. I just wish I had a bathing suit that fit. I have one bathing suit that is too big and one that is too small. I don't think that if the bathing suit fit that it would make me look 40 lbs lighter or anything but if it did fit it might look better. But I don't care, I will be at the beach. WOO HOO.

Ill be back late next week if not sooner, but don't hold your breath.
