Are You Ready for This?

Well it is the day before 30 lbs in 30 days and I am so excited and so nervous all at the same time.  We have about 25 people signed up, all women and on man...and lets be honest, he is my bro in law but I forced him to do it a little bit.  He will lose 30 lbs in like 5 minutes and the rest of us will bust our butts to get to our goal.

I have asked the contestants to tell me how they plan to lose weight and most of them are opting for calorie counting and exercise.  I have a couple doing weight watchers, one doing the special K challenge, one on Slimfast so I thought I would share with you the plan I am planning on following.

I will be following the diet and exercise program in the book Making the Cut.  I know you are all so surprised that I have a book that was written by Jillian Michaels.  (Can you say obsessed!)

If my stomach looked like that I would never wear a shirt!

I have an advantage in that I am already in pretty good shape.  That's like the disclaimer for this book, not for beginner workouters.  I have had this book for a while but have never been brave enough to try it out.  So hear goes.  I get to try 2 things new for the next month.

Okay Emily I am ready for this challenge. Let's get the show on the road! I have eaten pretty much anything and everything this week-end. I've psyched myself up and I'm ready.

making the cut is great! i somewhat followed it last summer and saw great fitness results and got lots of positive comments!
