After my food debacle yesterday of having to eat out (fast food) twice, and no I didn't make good choices, I made all my meals for today before I went to bed last night. It feels so good to be prepared for the day. I have probably eaten less calories in two meals today than I did in one of my fast food freakouts yesterday. I really tried to get in an extra hard workout and I think I accomplished that. I actually only have one workout tonight and then maybe some sleep.
I have been struggling with this sleep thing for the last few days. I'm trying to get out of the Target sleep mode and into a new, more normal habit of sleep. I was up til 2am night before last and managed to get in bed by 1am last night so its getting better. Now I just have to figure out how to wake up before 11am. I am hoping with some more good quality sleep and not 2 hour stretches that I will be able to see some more weight loss. I know sleep is important for weight loss and I think that is why mine has been a little stunted for the last few months. Ive been losing just really slowly.
I also started my new job yesterday. So for the next 3 days I officially have 3 jobs. My last day overnight is on Friday. I am extremely excited about this new job. So many new things to learn, but that just comes with the territory.
I also want to thank you all again for reading my blog. I love to read comments and emails from you all. You really inspire me to keep going. I was stopped yesterday during dinner and talked with a lady who was asking about workouts and things she could do to help lose some weight.
I want to share my story and let you know what works for me, but please remember I am not a dietitian or trainer...you have to just get out there and try new things. Find out what works for your body. Your body will let you know what you can and cannot do. Sometimes you have to fight through something uncomfortable to get the maximum results and sometimes your body simply has nothing left to give. You have to know your limits. (I don't want anyone getting hurt trying to do something because I talked about it.) I have had to stop during some classes and DVDs before because it was too painful on my knee or my heart rate was too high.
Simply gaining knowledge and testing the boundaries of what my body is capable of has been more helpful to me than anything else. I have talked to trainers and nutritionists, read multiple books on the subject of diet, weight loss, and healthy living to better educate myself and love to share my story and information with you. So if you have any questions I will be happy to answer them but please know I am only speaking from my experiences!
