Family

I have listened to my sister my entire life.  They were way more into this blogging thing than I ever was and one of their biggest complaints was they would follow someone, maybe a sick child, and when something happened in their lives major, for example the death of that child it was never told.  All of a sudden the blog halted and no one ever posted again.

For that reason, I would like to apologize for not posting the last few days.  On Tuesday afternoon my mother passed away.  I did not have the heart of the ability to post until now.

My mother was a wonderful woman.  She was quite possibly one of my bestest buds.  My mom and I were very close.  Her health had been poor for the last couple of years and some of my favorite times were going to doctors appointments because we got to spend 3 hours together, just the two of us, and eat lunch at our favorite restaurant.  We made a day of it and had a good time doing something that was really not a fun thing.

I am heartbroken but I will continue to blog.  My mother loved my blog even though she had NO idea what it really was.  She did not really embrace technology!  She would listen to me talk about it for hours about how many hits I got that day or how many followers I had.

My mom supported me in everything I did.

She will be greatly missed!

We have never met, but your cousin, Anna Catherine, is one of my best friends! I am soooooo sorry for your loss, and I have been thinking about your family everyday. I know from talking to AC that she was a wonderful person, and will definitely be missed. I wish I could offer some words that will be a huge comfort to you, but all I will say is that your entire family will continue to be in my prayers.

Melissa beat me to the message here. We heard the news through AC and have been praying for you guys ever since. As Melissa said, there are no words I can offer to comfort you, but I will definitely be thinking and praying for all of you.

Your blog is an inspiration to us all, I greatly enjoy reading it. Maybe now your Mom won't have to deal with technology to view your blog, she can read it from heaven. :)

My heart is just broken for your family. What a wonderful woman your mom was. I wish I would have told her what she meant to me while I was in high school. I looked up to her so much for being so loving and easy to talk to. I was so happy to see her and your Dad sitting there at my wedding. Much love to you and your family. She will be missed greatly.

Never posted here but felt led to offer you my condolences. Losing a parent is tough & I know because in 2000 I unexpectantly lost my father. It was extremley hard & still I'll find myself tearing up about it.

Thank you for sharing with us @ this difficult time. My thoughts & prayers are with you & your family.
