Well today started off bright and early to help with some storm clean up. Our town was spared for the most part but the school my babies attend had some significant damage. The school is less than 5 miles from my house and when I headed out this morning traffic was bumper to bumper. It took 45 minutes to make the trip.
I think moving workout equipment all morning long counts as a workout.
Our neighbors to the south took a harder hit and they were trying to find food and gas this morning. It took me 45 minutes to travel 5 miles to clean up. I knew there were storms but I had no idea what was going on for there to be so many cars on the road. I am just glad our small town was able to help in anyway that we could.
Like I have said before, small town, one road, LOTS OF CARS!
That being said, I spent the majority of my day in traffic. After another 45 minute 5 mile drive to the office I gave up. I worked from home for the rest of the day. It was much easier than having to fight traffic. My sister asked me to stop by the store and grab something for her...this is the site I saw.
You could have all the Buttermilk you wanted!I was sure I was not going to workout after the 3 hours of cleaning up this morning but my niece and buddy wanted to go run this afternoon. So it was a good chance to get in a few miles and workout with the girls. I love these girls but I never get to workout with them.
So now my body is a little bit sore, my hands hurt more than anything else, but I am definantly ready to lay down and relax a little bit.
Send up a prayer for those tonight without power, loss of property and loved ones.
