Today was supposed to start my hardcore training for my 2 big events coming up. I already told you about the record breaking world record half marathon time that I want to achieve. Otherwise known as 2:15! But I am also in training mode for my first triathlon. I have been working very hard on my swimming portion of the race, I am ready for the running portion, but I have not yet mastered that whole bike part. I have given away so many bikes over the year because I hate riding the bike so that is obviously the part I need to work on. I have spent a lot of time on the stationery bike at the gym but I have not yet tried it out on the open road. Well today I finally asked a friend who I know is going on vacation if I could use her bike for a few days before I purchase one that is very expensive and hate it. She agreed so I will get to ride a real bike for a few days to get a feel for it and know what I want out of a bike, and if I still hate it I can rent one for the big day and never have to ride it again. I want to do a tri sooooo bad, its on my bucket list for this year and I am going to have to get ready. I really want a sticker!

So my training schedule for the tri is on my fridge door and my running faster plan will hopefully all that training will help with my speed for the half. These are 2 very big goals for me and I hope I can achieve them both. I am way more nervous about this triathlon thing because I don't know what to expect.
That's really all I have for you guys today because up to this point I have done nothing but try to stay very still and get completely well. I think I'm all better now but I don't want to chance anything.
