DON'T TOUCH ME! I love sharing cupcakes with small children, but DON'T TOUCH ME!
This has been a birthday full of weekends. haha. My sisters birthday was Sunday and we celebrated with some yummy yummy cupcakes and then today was my running buddies birthday and I didn't get any cake but I got a yummy mid-run breakfast break. We actually ran 4 miles this morning but it was 2 miles out, breakfast, 2 miles back. Happy Birthday!
Our run this morning was one of the best I have had in a while. I ran way more than I walked and felt good for the majority of the run. I felt like I was running fast too, I know my blistering pace isn't much for some people but it was faster than I have ran in a while. Another reason I think it was a better run is because most of my lunges/kettlebell soreness has been worked out. I am still having a touch of hip pain but that stupid hip has been hurting for months now, I'm just getting used to it now! Really, it doesn't matter why, it was a good run. Yeah!!!
So after my run I was in a pretty good mood. I was jazzed up for the day. It was off to work. I did job #1 then off to job #2. My desk chair is no longer comfortable and makes my hip hurt, but I have discovered that sitting on a exercise ball is much more comfortable so I have moved to a workout ball for the rest of the night.
I packed all my clothes up this morning for my evening workout. I was planning a cycling workout so I didn't pack my good sports bra of my good shoes. It made since to me. There is not a lot of bouncing that goes on when you are riding a bike. But then I got the opportunity to go do the Zumba class tonight. I haven't done it in months and I had forgotten how much fun it was. There were some new dances that I didn't know at all but I was able to keep up, bad bra and all. So now, I have done all my workouts for the day and get to go home when I get off work and don't have to worry about working out once the gym closes! WOO HOO!
Looks like starting the day off with a good run makes the whole day better!
