Takin' It Easy

I knew today I needed to take it a little easy if I wanted to be able to walk this weekend, so that is what I did.  I slept in a little bit this morning because my body was exhausted.  You would think with my body being so tired I would be able to sleep but I have been having the hardest time sleeping lately.  Anyway, I slept in a little bit this morning and woke to thunder.

I knew I was going to have to workout inside today which was what I had planned so it was not a big deal that it was stormy outside.  I got to the gym and did just enough to burn some calories and workout these legs just a little bit but definitely easy today.  I rode intervals on the bike for about 30 minutes and then did leg weights at about 75% weight.

Now I am still on the relaxation train today.  I have been doing lots of computer work today, filling out more applications and emailing out resumes.  Today is just what my body needed.....

Its storming again now so its dark outside and dark inside.  Its the perfect day for a nap...too bad I have the not being able to sleep problem!

I have opened the curtain so I can watch the storm and to let in just a little bit of light.  Otherwise its creepy that I'm sitting in the dark.

Not sleeping is probably a result of being stressed (whether you think you are or not) over the no job situation. Take a deep breath and focus on the fact that God will give you the right job, soon. : )

Take it one step at a time. Being stressed out won't do you any good. Just don't lose hope. God will do the rest.
