Anyway...when I went home I had 5 girls to get ready for prom and I also managed to sneak in a few hair cuts while I was there. All in all I did 5 updos, 4 makeup applications, 3 male haircuts, 2 kids haircuts, and one female haircut...and a partridge in a pear tree. The best part of the whole weekend was, as crazy as it was, is that I loved every second of it and I'm already itching to get back to class to do some more makeup tomorrow. I have a few pics of my girls for you to see...
I wish I was looking a little better in this pic! I had spent several hours sweating at this point. But its tradition for me and this girly to take a selfie!
This sweet girl has been my model for so many things, its only right that she would be the one I didn't get a good pic of her hair!
Oh collage pictures...I do love them!
Once I got back to Atlanta I was off to the races again. I finally finalized a place to live that is not a hotel. Yippee! I was sure the hotel idea was a good idea when I first got here but I learned pretty quick that I needed a place that was mine and not everyone else who has come to the area! Ill be sure and share pics of my one room (not one bedroom) studio when I finally get moved in!
And then today I got my job finalized! I'm telling you I've been on a little bit of a roll lately. I figure Ill just risk jinxing it since its been a pretty good week! I will now be working on my days off of school at the DryBar. I think this place is so cool and I am super excited to be working here. I have done several days of training and today I was told that I was official. I'm still looking for another job but I am so happy to have secured something. If you are not familiar its a Blow Dry Bar...that's it. No haircuts or coloring...just wash and blow dry! I have been really excited about this company because the blow dry is my favorite part of any service. I always loved coloring, liked coloring but I love that finish look and now I get to work at a place that just does that.
And tomorrow I am going to check out a gym in the area that I will be living. I have looked at a few since Ive been in the area but I just haven't found the right one for me. I tried to check out Planet Fitness because they have good deals but the closest one to me has a road under construction and I simply could not get to the gym to even check it out. Ill sit in traffic for a while pretty patiently but 45 minutes moving less that a quarter of a mile...I can almost guarantee I'm not going to go to that gym every day! I also checked out another really close to my temporary place and they thought A $$$ LOT of their equipment. I can run outside for free! I like the gym and enjoy going but I'm not going to risk bankruptcy just to get my burn on!
I'm feeling like an old lady at this point but I'm thinking its almost my bed time. (Leave me alone I'm tired!) Even if I don't go to sleep now I sure do plan on being laid up in the bed for the next little while and hopefully I'll accidentally fall asleep!
